Basecamp is committed to meeting the requirements of the Irish Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations.
In order to comply with The Irish Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations which came into force on 13th August 2005, Basecamp is required to display the Environmental Management Cost (EMC) Notice on this page and also on the price notices displayed on all relevent electrical and electronic goods sold via this website. The electrical and electronic goods sold on this website that fall under this EMC notice are listed below and the associated WEEE contribution.

'The prices of these items include contributions to a producer recycling fund to ensure that waste electrical and electronic equipment is collected and recycled in a responsible manner'.

- Free Take-Back of WEEE
Basecamp provides free take-back of electrical and electronic products (like GPS and torches for example) on a like-for-like basis. These products being returned must be of a similar type or have performed the same function as the new item being purchased. Products for return under this agreement can be taken to our store on 108 Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1 . Also note that the item being returned does not have to be the same brand as the one being purchased.
