Sea to Summit was created in Perth, Western Australia, in 1983, at a period when lightweight, outdoor gear was hard to come by in Australia. The term comes from a collaboration between two passionate Australian adventurers who created gear for an expedition to conquer Mount Everest. 
It has since grown into a global corporation that designs and manufactures outdoor, travel, and water sports equipment. They create gear that is inventive, sturdy, lightweight, and compact in order to provide the best options for outdoor enthusiasts.
